He
[Physical: appearance]

Facial details: Pointed ears, sharp features. Very short eye lashes and small nostrils.
Other defining features: He has brown runes tattooed on his arms and legs that serve as guidelines for his armor homunculus (see weapons/gears).
Clothing: An open violet long sleeved shirt with brown trims. His lower body is covered by pants-skirt down to his knees, held together by a belt, where his boots begin. He wears a feather cape over his clothing, closed most of the time to hide his build and combs his hair with a crown-like hair claw.
[Physical: movement]
Gait/demeanor: His expression is almost always serious. He walks very fast and keeps his back straight.
Voice/Speech pattern: Nestore's voice is like most faeries'; soft yet audible, as if the words were being whispered into one's ear. Since his pronunciation of other languages isn't very good, those who don't listen carefully or with bad hearing enough often mistake it for fairy language.
[Personality]
Loves:
♥Children. In a 'the fresher the blood, the better the potion' way.
♥Animals
♥Being tall. He likes when people have to look up to speak to him.
Hates/Fears:
✗ Being confused with other races
✗ Any mention of his sexuality based on his clothing will probably get the person skinned alive.
✗ Most humans, due to racial conflicts.
✗ Failure, being considered less for it.
Strengths:
●Good sense of direction due to his homeworld's environment.
●Nestore knows relatively a lot of things, from academic to completely random.
Weakness:
●Just as full changelings, Nestore is attracted to fairness. Blondes make it specially hard for him to concentrate.
●Metals of other realms, like steel, become poisonous in contact with his blood.
●Doesn't control his emotions properly.
Attitude in a group: Follower. Works better with people he considers unattractive for reasons explained above. Won't follow a leader he doesn't agree with unless it's absolutely necessary for the task in hand.
Pick one of the SEVEN DEADLY SINS that your character relates to, and one that your character does not relate to:
✓Greed Nestore has an almost unhealthy desire for power. He constantly want to prove that he isn't less than others.
✗Sloth. The work of an alchemist never ends. They act as healers, researchers and assistants of the council of Elders. Nestore is everything but lazy.
Pick one of the SEVEN HOLY VIRTUES that your character relates to, and one that your character does not relate to:
✔Faith. Nestore is very religious. He prays, goes to the church and all that.
✗Hope. He has a rather pessimistic view of life. The fact that, since he is a male, he is stuck as an alchemist doesn't help either.
Quirks:
● Bites his nails
● Sometimes talks to his homunculi as if they could understand him. People usually think he's talking to himself.
● Cracks his knuckles when nervous.
● Very picky about what he eats. Vegetarian.
● Blesses himself with the sign of the cross before every battle.
[Background]
Setting: Nestore's homeworld is a woodland planet named Tresk'ri, similar to European folklore in habitants. Changelings are known for being a race with a strict, matriarchal government and a pretty accurate knowledge of the way the realms are connected. Though in theory they are a pacific race, they are very prone to conflict, specially with humans.
Family:
●Diane, adoptive mother.
Friends:
●Salv'jaa. Diane's daughter.
Backstory
Nestore was born as a war child during a human occupation of a changeling city. During a brief pause in the conflict his mother, who knew the social implications his birth would carry, gave him up as soon as he was born. He was raised by their church with the other war children and orphans.
When he reached school age it became very obvious that he had no talent for regular magic. Diane, a high priestess who had studied with humans long before the war, saw potential in him and decided that teaching him alchemy was worth a shot, becoming her mentor. He mastered it in time for the second occupation in which Diane was killed. He became her temporal replacement and was given a job as the mentor of her daughter Salv'jaa until she could take her place.
[Combat]
Fighting style:
Nestore relays on alchemy for fighting. For practical reasons, he also knows basic hand-to-hand fighting techniques.
Weapons/gear:
●Fan: Infused with a very hard, sharp native metal, it can separate into five blades. The feathers on top are made of a softer version of the same metal making them piercing as well. It's composition is incompatible with water, contact with it makes its lose its sharpness, while extreme heat will melt it. It has an 'eye' hidden under the feathers, weak hits may render it useless, whereas strong ones may break it.
●Shoulder pad: Uses the runes on his body as guidelines to block physical attacks and takes the form of the protected body part. Though nearly indestructible, it doesn't react to long rage weapons, magic and doesn't cover his chest or face. It can also attach itself to an opponent, with the same limitations. The 'eye' in right in the middle.
Unusual abilities:
● Fast healing (2) His wounds heal almost two times faster than human's.
●Homunculi summoning (3) . Used to summon and maintain his fan and shoulder pad.
Physical Attributes: Nestore has roughly the same strength and endurance of a human male his size though he is considerably faster.
Group combat techniques: In groups, he mainly stays at the offensive. He simply can't do defense, he cares either too much or too little for the rest of the team to be effective.
[Tournament]
The Soul: Diane. He wants to bring her back not only because he thinks of her like family but because he feels incapable of looking ater Salvj'aa.
Team:
Nestore has no team so far. As far as he knows, no one else from Tresk'ri was summoned and he isn't particularly thrilled by the idea of fighting alongside strangers.
[Last words]
1. He has a very fragile ego and takes things very personally.
2. He can't really fight bare handed and he knows it.
3. He is rather amoral. Bringing back Diane is the greater good and if people have to die, so be it.
